The Tennessee football team has some work to do in the bye week. Particular these five players could improve and turn the season around.

We are almost halfway through the Tennessee football season. 2-3 is not the way the Jeremy Pruitt wanted to start his tenure as a head football coach. However, everyone knew this season was going to be a struggle.

One thing Vol fans wanted to see throughout the season was improvement, and so far I think everyone can sit back and say the team is improving. If you compare the Florida and Georgia games, you will notice a different energy. You will find more players in the correct position and players causing turnovers.

In this post, we are going to list five players that need to improve to help the Vols have a successful rest of the season. Let us clarify and say we aren’t bashing the players. In fact, we know these five players have all kinds of potential and could really make huge impacts on the team.

Improvement doesn’t necessarily mean bad; it just means it could be better. Or in some cases, it is already good, but it could be great.

The Vols have their hands full the rest of the season. If these five players can improve, it could mean the difference in a bowl game of a 3-9 season. I think it is safe to say that Jeremy Pruitt and his coaching staff have shown that can develop players better than Butch Jones. Maybe, they can work some magic in the bye week.
