Just like that the 2018 Tennessee football season is only one game away from being halfway over. We have some bold predictions for the rest of the season.

It was only one short month ago that the anticipation of the start of the 2018 Tennessee football season was killing everyone. We needed football.

Now, taking a look at the calendar, it’s October, and the Vols are only one game shy of the halfway mark of the regular season. It’s almost basketball time in Tennessee.

Through five games we have seen some troubling things and some really positive things from Jeremy Pruitt’s first football team.

The Florida game was disgusting any way you look at it. The offense couldn’t take care of the ball, and the defense let Florida do whatever they wanted to.

Many thought the Georgia game would be just as bad. After all, they are ranked No.2 in the nation, and they beat Tennessee 41-0 last season. However, the Vols came out and finally looked like a football team. They were only down 12 points in the fourth quarter before the Bulldogs got two garbage time touchdowns.

In this post, we are going to run down five bold predictions we have for the rest of the season. There are seven games left, and the Vols have a chance to turn the season around.

The next two games against Auburn and Alabama are going to be tough, but some bold predictions that could easily come to fruition if the team continues to improve.
