Jeremy Pruitt and the Tennessee football team travel down on the plains to take on the Auburn Tigers Saturday. Here are a few Tigers to watch for.

We as college football fans wait all summer long for the first games of the season to begin. Win or loss, life is good for the most part because football is back. Fast forward six short weeks and the season is almost halfway over.

The Tennessee football team is coming off their first bye week under head coach Jeremy Pruitt. Maybe there will be another improvement in their performance. There was a huge difference from Florida to Georiga, and that was a normal week. It will be interesting to see if the Vols can keep it close and maybe sneak away with a win.

What about Auburn? The Tigers have lost two games on the season, and both have been in conference play. After opening the season with a top ten win against Washington, they suffered their first loss to the LSU Tigers in a 22-21 thriller. The game came down to a last second 42-yard field goal by Cole Tracy.

Their second loss of the season came last week to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. State absolutely dominated in a 23-9 win. Auburn failed to score a touchdown.

Like always in this post, we are going to break down the top five Auburn Tigers to watch for against the Volunteers. These five players are essential to the Tigers success. This game could go one or two ways. These players have good performance; Tigers cover the spread. If they struggle and the Vols keep it close, maybe they could win the game.
