Tennessee football’s match-up at the Auburn Tigers leads our week seven Volunteers, Southeastern Conference and Top 25 predictions.

After a bye week, Tennessee football is back in acton and hoping to avoid another blowout loss, this time facing the Auburn Tigers on the road. While that game could be a major blowout or a close one we don’t expect, it’s definitely an intriguing one for gambling picks.

During the bye, things were a bit rough for all of us. The SEC standings began to take shape a bit more, but it was at a major cost. Here’s how we all fared straight up and on gambling picks last week in SEC and Top 25 games.

Week 6 recap: (Record on gambling picks are tiebreakers)

Caleb Calhoun: 13-14 overall

4-5 straight-up, 9-9 gambling (4-5 ATS, 5-4 O/U)

Garrett Sanders: 12-15 overall

5-4 straight-up, 7-11 gambling (4-5 ATS, 3-6 O/U)

Billy Williford: 11-16 overall

4-5 straight-up, 7-11 gambling (2-7 ATS, 5-4 O/U)

Record on unanimous gambling picks: 2-6

As you can see, we all had losing records. And our unanimous gambling picks took a major nose dive. Late field goals, made and missed, killed us on straight up picks. Late, meaningless touchdowns and interceptions that should’ve been downed instead of run back destroyed us on the spread and over/under of games. But with that, here’s a look at how we now stand overall.

Overall standings

Garrett Sanders: 118-77 overall

56-17 straight-up, 62-60 gambling (33-28 ATS, 29-32 O/U)

Caleb Calhoun: 117-78 overall

55-18 straight-up, 62-60 gambling (26-35 ATS, 36-25 O/U)

Billy Williford: 113-82 overall

56-17 straight-up, 57-65 gambling (24-37 ATS, 33-28 O/U)

Record on unanimous gambling picks: 21-26

So clearly, none of us are making money right now on the gambling front. You’ve got to go over 52 percent for that. And last week’s games put us significantly under on our unanimous picks. But this is where it all changes.

Like Tennessee football, we’re back in action going for a turnaround. This week’s SEC slate includes two teams on bye and then all conference games. So that makes for six SEC games. On top of that, we have two non-conference games between Top 25 teams to bring you.

With the second weekend of October games here and the college football season being more than halfway done after Saturday, we’ll have a great read on everybody’s standing once this round of games happens. It’ll further separate teams. So let’s go ahead and break them down. These are our Tennessee football, SEC and Top 25 predictions for Week 7 of the 2018 season.
