Tennessee football travels to Auburn, Alabama to take on the Auburn Tigers in their second straight conference road game. Here is the Vols’ streaming, game time, and TV info.

Jeremy Pruitt takes his 2-3 Tennessee football team down to the plains to upset the Auburn Tigers. This will mark the Vols second conference road game in a row. However, Tennessee is coming off a bye week where if the trend continues, they should be a much-improved team.

The Vols and Tigers played their first game in the series on November 10, 1900. Auburn won that game 23-0.

It has been a tight series with Auburn holding a 28-21-3 lead. However, it has been lopsided recently. The Tigers have won six in a row and haven’t lost to the Vols since 1999. Some of the current players playing in this game weren’t even born yet, that’s how long it’s been.

Here is all the information you need for the Vols’ game vs. Auburn Tigers

Jeremy Pruitt has his Tennessee football team trending in the right direction. After a huge 47-21 letdown against the Florida Gators, the Vols looked much better playing Georiga.

One of the biggest questions surrounding the team is how can the offense start complementing the defense. Don’t look now but the Vols have a top 30 defense in the nation and are playing really good.

Ty Chandler and Jauan Jennings need the football more. Excluding the first game against West Virginia because of the injury, Chandler is only averaging 12 carries a game. He is a dynamic player that has explosive speed and can make players miss with the best of them. Chandler needs around 20 touches a game to help the Vols offense be more successful.

As for Jennings, flat out the kid is a player. He’s a gamer and loves the underdog role. He only has 12 catches on the season for 136 yards. I’m going to let the coaches coach, but the 8-10 yards slant is money all game long with Jennings.

Auburn, is having a lot of the same problems. The offensive line isn’t getting much of a push, the running attack is struggling, and the quarterback play isn’t great.

Quarterback Jarrett Stidham is not the same quarterback he used to be. He is struggling in the pocket because of the lack of protection. If the Vols can get to him, it could be a good way to keep this game close.

But, the defense is keeping the Tigers in their games. They are outstanding with a lot of future NFL talent. Auburn ranks 20th in the nation only giving up 4.68 yards per play. They have only given up seven touchdowns on the year which leads the nation tied with Mississippi State.

I see this game playing out two ways. Auburn comes out and finds their offensive game and wins line 41-7. However, I could also see the Vols having a chance to win the game as time expires much like South Carolina a year ago.

As much as I want to pick the Vols to win, I don’t have the confidence just yet. I do however think they will play Auburn to a close game. Auburn 21 Tennessee 13.
