Tennessee football’s win over the Auburn Tigers has a lot of units looking good. Here is the stock report for the Volunteers after that game.

Well, it’s safe to say Tennessee football is out of the recession. The stock market isn’t reaching all time highs on Rocky Top, but it had a dramatic rise on Saturday after the Vols shocked the Auburn Tigers 30-24.

With the win, UT now has a lot more to play for in the future, and that’s reason enough to be excited. The expectations have been reset, and fans are thinking about much more than playing teams close now.

There’s no way of knowing just how good the Auburn Tigers are anymore. At the same time, it makes knowing how impressive Tennessee football’s win truly was hard to figure out. After all, it was a noon kickoff against a team ready to call it quits for the season.

On top of that, there were clear weaknesses on the Tigers that the Vols managed to exploit. So you could definitely point to plenty of reasons for what happened. Still, we were able to take all that into account for our stock report on the team.

At the end of the day, the Vols beat a ranked team on the road. And they did it despite being more than two-touchdown underdogs, which is a huge deal. So all the fans are right to be happy about the way their team performed.

Coming off the bye week, Jeremy Pruitt managed to raise everybody’s play overall. But it’s not all roses for this team. We still found some negatives. And there is plenty of reason to believe not all of this success will last.

So let’s break down the good and the bad of the Vols right now. It’s time to find out who can’t relish in this expanding market on Rocky Top. This is our stock report for Tennessee football following their 30-24 win over the Auburn Tigers.
