The Vols move to 3-4 with the loss to Alabama. Can they turn the season around and make a bowl game? Here is the photo gallery from the game.

Jeremy Pruitt is the next Nick Saban’s former assistant coach to fall to the old boss. Saban and the Tide are machines that don’t appear to be turning off anytime soon. Tennessee football fans can’t be upset about the outcome; everyone knew Alabama was going to win.

Sure, you could have wanted to see a little more from the Vols, but Alabama does this to every team. And, looking around the nation, who can beat them? What team can even play them to a ten-point game?

Take a look at the photo gallery from The Third Saturday in October. I’m not sure who takes these pictures but can we please get some of Jauan Jennings?

The second photo in the gallery was of Alabama’s running back Najee Harris leaping over Vols defensive back Nigel Warrior. That same play Harris displayed a side step and a stiff arm. It looked like he was in a video game.

Speaking of video games, freshman wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, pictured above, had one of the best games of his young career. He finished the game with four receptions for 117 yards and one touchdown.

Finally, former Vols head coach Butch Jones made his return back to Neyland Stadium. Jones, pictured above, had an important role in the Crimson Tide’s win. Okay, no he didn’t. Alabama probably would have scored more point without Jones on their sideline.

Next. Tennessee football 5 takeaways: Alabama treats Vols like everyone else. dark

Alabama finished with 58 points which is the most points scored in the history of the rivalry. Moving forward the Vols get South Carolina next, who should be more on their level. The past six games have been decided by a touchdown or less.
