It’s clear now. The Arkansas Razorbacks belong at the bottom of our SEC Power Rankings. Not only are they 0-5 in the conference, but three of those losses have come to teams near the bottom of this list.

Sure, they seemed to find themselves a bit recently, particularly on offense. But it doesn’t matter. The defense has collapsed against the Ole Miss Rebels and Vanderbilt Commodores. When you lose 45-31 to Vanderbilt, you are clearly the worst team in the conference.

Add in the fact that they have two losses to Group of Five teams, and this was clearly a throwaway year for Chad Morris as he tries to install his new offense. But they can’t quit on the season, as this is about setting a standard.

Heading into a bye week, the Hogs have a chance to make a statement in November and at least give themselves some momentum going into next year. A bowl game is now out of the question. Now it’s about trying to see how much pride this team has in what will be a 3-9 season at best and likely a 2-10 season.

But they could try to look respectable at home against the LSU Tigers the next week and then on the road against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. And they should have a chance to beat the Missouri Tigers.
