Tennessee football’s home game against Charlotte is one of the easier picks for our Week 10 Volunteers, SEC and Top 25 predictions.

Buckle up for the most exciting weekend of SEC games all season. Tennessee football, however, is not a part of it since they have their homecoming game against a low level Group of Five team instead. However, the Vols’ chances of finally getting another win may generate some excitement on Rocky Top.

It’ll be worth it for some of us after how we fared last weekend. There’s a major gap between how we all did, as two of us were solid, but one was awful. Here is a recap of our Week 9 performances on predictions.

Week 9 record (Record on gambling picks are tiebreakers)

Billy Williford: 14-7 overall

6-1 straight-up, 8-6 gambling (4-3 ATS, 4-3 O/U)

Garrett Sanders: 12-9 overall

4-3 straight-up, 8-6 gambling (3-4 ATS, 5-2 O/U)

Caleb Calhoun: 7-14 overall

3-4 straight-up, 4-10 gambling (2-5 ATS, 2-5 O/U)

Record on unanimous gambling picks: 2-3

Again, like we said, only one person held us back. But we struggled again on our unanimous gambling picks, a theme throughout the season. With October over, here’s where we all stand heading into the stretch run of the season.

Overall Standings

Garrett Sanders: 158-109 overall

71-26 straight-up, 87-83 gambling (46-39 ATS, 41-44 O/U)

Caleb Calhoun: 158-109 overall

74-23 straight-up, 84-86 gambling (39-46 ATS, 45-40 O/U)

Billy Williford: 157-110 overall

76-21 straight-up, 81-89 gambling (37-48 ATS, 44-41 O/U)

Record on unanimous gambling picks: 32-37

So last week did flip the top two people in these standings and made No. 3 inch up closer. But we all need a strong November to get above water on our gambling picks for this season. And this weekend’s games start it. Heck, Tennessee football’s match-up even has an intriguing line.

On top of that, the game to certainly decide the SEC East and likely decide the SEC West, both of which have major College Football Playoff implications, are part of a major CBS double-header. Meanwhile, in addition to the Vols, one other team has a non-conference game. Two are on byes, and there are three others among conference teams. Add in two non-conference Top 25 games, and we have nine games to pick overall.

You can’t ask for a more exciting November stretch of games, and this could be one for Vols fans to simply enjoy. So let’s see how they shake out. These are our Week 10 Tennessee football, SEC and Top 25 predictions.
