The Vols are back in Knoxville for homecoming against the Charlotte 49ers. Here is the weather report for Saturday’s game.

It’s homecoming week, and despite always playing a no name, it’s one of the best weeks of the season. It also usually marks the end of the season which for most fans is as depressing as it gets.

The weather appears it’s going to play along with all the homecoming festivities that will take place around campus. But, but should to pack a light jacket, it could get a bit chilly as the day goes on. The weather should be great and have zero impact on the game. Take a look at the projected forecast below.

12:00 pm – 52 degrees with sunny skies and a 0 percent chance of rain.

1:00 pm – 55 degrees with sunny skies and a 0 percent chance of rain.

2:00 pm – 56 degrees with sunny skies and a 0 percent chance of rain.

3:00 pm – 58 degrees with sunny skies and a 0 percent chance of rain.

Kick off at 4:00 pm – 59 degrees with sunny skies and a 0 percent chance of rain.

5:00 pm – 58 degrees with sunny skies and a 0 percent chance of rain.

6:00 pm – 57 degrees with sunny skies and a 0 percent chance of rain.

7:00 pm – 53 degrees with clear skies and a 0 percent chance of rain.

8:00 pm – 50 degrees with clear skies and a 0 percent chance of rain.

As we mentioned, the weather is going to be perfect for tailgating before the game. At kickoff, fans will get 60 degree weather with sunny skies and not a single chance of rain.

You will need a jacket for the second half. Around 7:00 pm the temperature will drop to around 53 degrees and approximately 8:00 pm it could be down to the high 50’s. However, those temperatures for a football game is nothing to complain about.

The conditions are going to be great, and we will see if the Vols can get back on track after dropping two straight games. There is no other way around it; this game is a must win for Jeremy Pruitt and the Vols.
