The Tennessee football team moves to 4-5 on the season with three games left to play. Here is the photo gallery from the game against Charlotte.

It was homecoming weekend where things are supposed to be perfect with all the festivities. Jeremy Pruitt and the Tennessee football team won the game, but it was far from perfect. It was probably the worst win of the season if that even makes sense.

Earlier in the season, the Vols played host to UTEP where a win ended falling in their laps, and the same thing applied against Charlotte. Tennessee only scored 14 points and managed to finish the game with 44 rushing yards if you dismiss Jarrett Guarantano’s -24 yards rushing.

I suppose none of that matter since the Vols got the win. As I said earlier, it’s better to play bad and win than to play good and lose. Here is the photo gallery from the game.

The photo gallery begins with Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt and Charlotte’s head coach Brad Lambert sharing a laugh before the game. Those laughs wouldn’t last long for Pruitt with the way Tennessee played. The offenses struggled all game long and never could piece together good back-to-back drives.

The gallery shows Jarrett Guarantano getting rocked. There isn’t a game that goes by where Guarantano isn’t getting hit. It’s surprising when he doesn’t get hit when he drops back for a pass. Despite getting crushed like every other game, Guarantano played well. He finished the game 16-of-21 for 172 passing yards with one touchdown and zero interceptions.

Finally, there are a few flashy photos of Josh Palmer making the most of his receptions. Palmer has played well this season. He led all receivers with 71 yards on four receptions with one touchdown. This was the second game of the season where Palmer had over 70 yards receiving, the other came against Auburn where he accounted for 84 yards.
