Tennessee football’s home game against the Kentucky Wildcats leads our Volunteers, SEC and Top 25 predictions for Week 11 of 2018.

Tennessee football playing at home as an underdog against the Kentucky Wildcats may be the biggest story of the week. After all, how often has that happened throughout the history of these two programs?

The Vols’ afternoon showdown with UK is an exciting part of our SEC and Top 25 predictions for this week. We’re now in the final stretch run for these picks, and the race between the three of us are getting tighter. Here’s how we fared against each other last week.

Week 10 record (Record on gambling picks are tiebreakers)

Billy Williford: 17-10 overall

7-2 straight-up, 10-8 gambling (5-4 ATS, 5-4 O/U)

Caleb Calhoun: 17-10 overall

7-2 straight-up, 10-8 gambling (5-4 ATS, 5-4 O/U)

Garrett Sanders: 15-12 overall

6-3 straight-up, 9-9 gambling (4-5 ATS, 5-4 O/U)

Record on unanimous gambling picks: 4-1

As you can see, it was a pretty average week for all of us. We were either .500 or barely over it on gambling picks. However, for the first time in a while, our unanimous gambling picks finally had an awesome week at 80 percent. Here’s a look at how we all stack up overall now.

Overall Standings

Caleb Calhoun: 175-119 overall

81-25 straight-up, 94-94 gambling (44-50 ATS, 50-44 O/U)

Billy Williford: 174-120 overall

83-23 straight-up, 91-97 gambling (42-52 ATS, 49-45 O/U)

Garrett Sanders: 173-121 overall

77-29 straight-up, 96-92 gambling (50-44 ATS, 46-48 O/U)

Record on unanimous gambling picks: 36-38

The big week with our unanimous picks closed the gap. But we all still have work to do to make our gambling picks profitable. That’s where this week comes in, and there’s as much pressure on us as there is on Tennessee football against Kentucky with the Vols trying to reach bowl eligibility.

This is the most unique and maybe exciting week of all in the conference. That’s because every SEC team is playing, and they are all playing another SEC team. It’s the only week in the entire season in which that is the case, and it makes for seven conference games overall. On top of that, there are two games featuring two Top 25 teams nationally, making for nine games overall, and they both have College Football Playoff implications.

Simply put, this is a very exciting weekend across the country. As always, we’ll go in order of the game times with our predictions but end with Tennessee football’s showdown. So here are our Vols, SEC and Top 25 predictions for Week 11 of the 2018 season.
