Tennessee football’s front seven is continuing to shoot up in the program’s stock report following the Volunteers’ 24-7 win over the Kentucky Wildcats.
Well, the recession of Tennessee football appears to be over for now. This is like the period of a program being near the bottom in terms of economic indicators but trending upward rapidly. That’s what Jeremy Pruitt was able to deliver for the Vols Saturday.
Right now, support for him as CEO of this program is through the roof. Sure, the team is only 5-5, but two wins against Top 25 teams and a chance to go to a bowl game is a major accomplishment. We can’t ignore that.
Because of all this, it was actually hard to find negatives in Tennessee football’s stock report over the weekend. It’s pretty clear that things were clicking across the board on Rocky Top as they took a huge step towards bowl eligibility.
However, as always, there were still certain negative aspects that we have no problem bringing to you. And we’re going to do that here. But don’t worry. We’ll emphasize all the positives surrounding the team, and there’s no denying there are many.
In fact, you’ll start to see a few familiar parts of UT’s stock in different portions of this post. After all, this team has seen consistent positions improve over time and continually look better and better dating back to when they came off the bye week.
So who is shining now? Where are the problems after such a thrilling victory? Take a look here in our Tennessee football stock report following the Vols’ 24-7 win over the Kentucky Wildcats in Week 11 of the 2018 season.
