No. 7 LSU Tigers at No. 22 Texas A&M Aggies

Saturday, Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. E.T.; Kyle Field; College Station, Texas

TV: SEC Network: Line: Texas A&M -2.5; Over/Under: 48

Jimbo Fisher has this Aggies team playing at a much higher level than year’s past. I mentioned it earlier, but Texas A&M should have beaten Clemson if it wasn’t for a ball call. Fisher and the Aggies have a great opportunity to close the season beating a really good team.

I was wrong about LSU, I gave them eight wins at the absolute best, and I couldn’t have been more wrong. Ed Orgeron has proved he has a tough defense that can play with anyone other than maybe Alabama. I don’t know how the Aggies are the favorite here. Take LSU.

Tennessee football’s first season under Jeremy Pruitt hasn’t been as exciting as the Texas A&M Aggies’ first season under Jimbo Fisher. And now this A&M team has a great chance to make a statement win to close out the season against Ed Orgeron’s LSU Tigers. This is one that could end up being a thrilling game.

However, the upset won’t come. Orgeron, despite losing to the Florida Gators and Alabama Crimson Tide, has proven enough this year to earn respect in games like these. And he has the defense to keep this under control. As a result, with Texas A&M being a two and a half point favorite, I know who to go with on the spread and on the over/under. LSU wins in the upset by Vegas standards, and this game hits the under because of their defense.

LSU being ranked in the Top 10 still shocks me. The fact that a two loss team is in the Top 10 amazes me. Yet again, they only lost to two Top 25 teams in Florida and Alabama. But the fact of the matter is, Florida is looking like a bad loss now, and LSU got dominated by Alabama from start to finish! For Texas A&M, this game should be used as motivation to end the regular season on a good note. This game will be must watch television!

Jimbo Fisher will have his team ready to come out and play some hard, old-school, smash mouth football. These two defenses will produce headaches for both offenses. Who has the better offense? Talent wise you would think LSU. But Texas A&M has been able to put up points on a weekly basis. I get it, LSU is a Top 10 team, but they are extremely overrated for what their record is. The fact that this game is being played at Kyle Field is enough for me to go against my gut and say that the Aggies will pull the upset in this one. It will be a very close game. But in the end, the Aggies will come out on top.
