No. 21 Utah State Aggies at No. 23 Boise State Broncos

Saturday, Nov. 24 at 10:15 p.m. E.T.; Albertsons Stadium; Boise, Idaho

TV: ESPN; Line: Boise State -2.5; Over/Under: 67.5

If you’re not doing anything Saturday night, this is the game for you to tune into. Two ranked teams trying for a New Year’s Six Bowl. That sounds familiar with Boise State; they always seem to find a way in the mix.

I was wrong about the Broncos when they took on the Oklahoma State Cowboys, however, this game is on the blue turf, and it’s at night.

The Aggies have looked great this season scoring at will. Their only loss on the season was against Michigan State in the first game. They’ve scored over 40 points in eight games this season, and I like for them to score a lot in a shootout.

Talk about a thrilling Group of Five match-up. Don’t take this one lightly. If the UCF Knights somehow lose to the South Florida Bulls, this game could end up determining which team makes it to a New Year’s Six bowl game. So the Boise State Broncos and Utah State Aggies is going to be a thrilling match-up to watch.

On the blue turf in a late-night game, though, I don’t see how Utah State wins. This is Boise State’s territory, and they’re built for these match-ups. Utah State has looked better in games all year, but Boise State knows how to pull them out. So in a thrilling shootout, the Broncos get the win.

It’s very simple for this game. The winner will head to the Mountain West Conference Championship Game representing the Mountain Division going up against the Western Division in winner Fresno State. This could potentially also mean a New Year’s Six Bowl Game for the Mountain Conference Champion.

As far this game is concerned, Boise State is the more talented team on paper. However, the Aggies are on a 10-game winning streak with their only loss coming against Michigan State on the road by seven points! This is a Utah State team that very would could have been undefeated! I get it, everyone picks Boise State every year to go undefeated in their conference, (including myself). But this Utah State team is destined to finish out the season undefeated in Conference Play. Give me the Aggies to win at Boise State in a thriller finish!
