You have to love rivalry week especially when it comes to Georgia Tech and Georiga. I’ll admit watching the Yellow Jackets offense is one of the most boring things you can watch, but it does make it hard on opposing teams.
I believe Georiga is one of the best teams in the country even though they haven’t played to their potential. So, that makes me think this game will be a little closer than the 17-point spread may suggest. Take the Yellow Jackets in a close game.

The Georgia Bulldogs let me down last week by allowing 27 points to the UMASS Minutemen. UMASS scored twice as many points as Tennessee football did against them. Anyway, now they face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in an insanely hard game to pick. You never know what’s going to happen with that GT triple-option.
If the strategy is the same as what The Citadel had against Nick Saban, Paul Johnson will try to run the clock and limit snaps against Kirby Smart. That could be a method to win, but it won’t matter. The Dawgs will score enough to keep the game in control. And this time, they’ll keep the line under with their defense.
Georgia: 31 Georgia Tech: 10 (Georgia -17; Under 59.5)

Georgia Tech has won the last two times these two teams have met in Athens. Could Georgia Tech do the unthinkable and win again? They have that triple-option offense who always seem to give opposing teams trouble in stopping them. Just ask Tennessee from last season, Oklahoma from earlier this year, and Alabama from a week ago. This could potentially be a lot closer than people expect!
Georgia however has their offense playing their best football all season long up to this point. Georgia Tech may have an answer on offense but their defense could be in for a long day. In the end of things, Georgia should be able to win this game despite the triple-option threat the Yellow Jackets impose.
