The Tennessee basketball team is off to a fantastic start and is poised for a strong 2019. Here are a few reachable goals for the Vols to shoot for.

Another year is almost over, and 2019 is only four days away. 2018 has been more than kind to the Tennessee basketball team. The Vols won 26 games last season that included a share of the SEC Regular Season Championship. They made it all the way to the Championship Game in the SEC Tournament but fell to the Kentucky Wildcats.

This season started off with a lot of success. In fact, the Vols are on a six-game winning streak and only have one loss on the season. This past week, we wrote that Tennessee had a strong case to be ranked No.1 in the nation. After all, they have one of the best resumes in the entire country.

However, that didn’t happen. The Vols held at No.3 while Michigan jumped them for the second spot in the poll. Yes, we know it’s just December, but a No.1 ranking would have been huge for Rick Barnes and the program.

In this post, we are going to give four reachable goals that individuals players and the team could easily accomplish this season. Tennessee is in a great position to set some impressive records that could stand for years to come. However, we start with senior big man Kyle Alexander getting drafted in the NBA Draft.
