Scouting Report. Sophomore - Forward. 17.5 ppg - 9.3 rpg - 2.5 bpg. player. 524. Pick Analysis. Daniel Gafford. 10

Daniel Gafford is not only one of the best players in the SEC but in the entire nation. Through 12 games this season, Gafford is averaging 17.5 points per game which is third best in the SEC behind Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield.

His 9.3 rebounds per game are good enough for second best in the league. What makes him such a special player down low is his ability to grab the offensive rebound, averaging around 2.8 per game which is one of the best in the SEC.

A lot like Grant Williams, Gafford is fantastic at drawing fouls. He only connects on 60 percent of his shot from the free-throw line, but when he is attempting around seven per game, it could be the difference late in a tight matchup.

Then we come to the defensive side of the ball where Gafford is just as good. He ranks in the top three of the SEC with 2.5 blocks per game. His 6-foot-11 frame gives him an advantage down low on just about any opponent.

This will be a fun matchup to watch. I’m sure Williams will draw Gafford’s attention more than once during the game on January 15th. Even though the game is in Knoxville, watch out for Gafford and the Razorbacks pulling the upset.
