However, he’s playing on the No. 1 seed. And with the Chiefs getting a bye week, he now has plenty of time to get fully healthy for the NFL Playoffs. With this potentially being Andy Reid’s best team ever, Berry has a chance to make a statement in the playoffs.
No stranger to amazing stories, don’t count out the possibility of Berry finally being healthy for the playoffs and then being the star defender who delivers the Chiefs a Super Bowl Championship. This is a guy who came back from lymphoma just three years ago.
Every year Berry’s been healthy in the NFL, he’s been All-Pro. So if he can get back to full form for the playoffs, watch out what this team can do. They’re already the No. 1 overall seed, so winning a Super Bowl with Berry back is not crazy at all.
During the decline of the Vols, Berry remained one of the bright spots. He is still one of the greatest legends to ever grace Rocky Top, and the former Thorpe winner has accomplished everything you possibly can in the NFL.
All that’s left for Berry is to find a way to win a Super Bowl championship. He can get healthy just in time to do that with the best team he’s ever played on. The story is so perfect, and Berry is so perfect for such a script, that watch out for what he can do.
