36. . Defensive back. Seattle Seahawks. Justin Coleman. 3. player

Justin Coleman is a mixed bag from the weekend. Tennessee football fans could proudly point to the fact that, while starting at nickel for the Seattle Seahawks, he relatively limited what Cole Beasley was able to do.

Coleman helped hold Beasley to just three receptions for 28 yards and no touchdowns. He also had six tackles on the day. So the guy was pretty impressive all the way around in making an impact, and he helped put the Seahawks in position to win the game.

But it was Coleman who played a role in them losing the game as well. Down 17-14 in the fourth quarter, the Cowboys were facing a 3rd and 4 on the Seahawks’ 49-yard line. Coleman then caused a pass interference that gave Dak Prescott and co. the ball on their 41-yard line.

That play kept the Dallas drive alive and put them much closer in field goal range. It was also, obviously, a momentum killer. The Cowboys used that momentum to score a touchdown on that drive and go up two scores.

With no kicker, that made it almost impossible for Seattle to come back. Even with a late touchdown, it was clear they wouldn’t be able to execute an onside kick. And that was exactly the case. So despite playing well, Coleman had a huge blunder.
