Former Vols playing in upcoming divisional round games

Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

Chiefs: Eric Berry (S), Dustin Colquitt (P)

Tennessee football U has become the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL. Zach Fulton was once on there, and this team currently has Alex Ellis and Kahlil McKenzie on injured reserve. Eric Berry and Dustin Colquitt, two All-Americans from the Vols during the 2000s, are their contributors for this year. Berry should be healthy and fully ready to go against the Indianapolis Colts and Andrew Luck on Saturday afternoon. He’ll have a huge role for the Chiefs if they finally want to break free and make a Super Bowl run while playing safety against this red-hot passing attack.

Meanwhile, Colquitt will need to help carry the legacy that Trevor Daniel left on Saturday with his punting against the Colts. The Chiefs will need the veteran to come through as well. Berry and Colquitt will both be key to winning this game.

Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams

Rams: John Kelly

John Kelly saw more action than normal over the past couple of weeks because the Los Angeles Rams were resting Todd Gurley. Now, with Gurley healthy, you can expect him to go back to third-string since C.J. Anderson is clearly the second-stringer. But that doesn’t mean Kelly may not make a surprise impact. Before Jalen Hurd’s transfer, he would be a pleasant surprise in numerous Tennessee football games. So watch out.

Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots

Patriots: Cordarrelle Patterson

Tom Brady is limited on playmakers with Rob Gronkowski past his prime. Unfortunately for him, Cordarrelle Patterson can’t catch that well. He can’t really run routes either. But if you put the ball in his hands, he can make people miss. Can Vols fans root for Brady if Patterson does well? That’s going to be the trick in this game. And Patterson may be a key weapon to offset Gronk’s ineffectiveness and Brady’s age.

Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints

Saints: Alvin Kamara (RB)

Alvin Kamara is destined for a huge day. The Philadelphia Eagles are still banged up on defense, particularly up front. As a result, at home, Sean Payton, Drew Brees, that home crowd and the entire Saints team will be looking for Kamara to be a major playmaker. He should be able to have a historic day, especially in the passing game with no former Vol teammate Derek Barnett healthy and able to make an impact.
