49. . Center. Green Bay Packers. Scott Wells. 8. player

Super Bowl XLV

Green Bay Packers: 31

Pittsburgh Steelers: 25

Tennessee football had two offensive linemen starting on the Green Bay Packers the year they won the Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers back in the 2010-2011 season. In this game, they both played really well.

Scott Wells was the center, so he had a huge role. Going up against an elite Pittsburgh Steelers defense, he had his work cut out for him. As a snapper, he did his job. And he was part of the serviceable interior blocking in the run game, which allowed James Starks to have 11 carries for 52 yards.

The only negative was the fact that Rodgers was sacked three times, and Wells did allow one of those sacks. However, he largely allowed Rodgers to do his thing in the game, which is why he was able to throw for 304 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Technically, a second sack would be considered on Wells, but it was more on Rodgers for running the wrong way trying to make a play. Overall, Wells played very well in this game. He’s the first guy on this list that actually is on for his play and not just by default to reach 10.
