We’re back to another cornerback, and this is the first guy on the list that Tennessee football is an undisputed favorite to land. The Vols are 50/50 with the UCF Knights among 247Sports predictions, but Rivals predictions are above 75 percent.

What’s odd is that Jeremy Pruitt is one of the only Power Five coaches offering Solomon. The Louisville Cardinals, Colorado Buffaloes and Rutgers Scarlet Knights are also targeting him. But outside of those five, you see more schools like UCF in the hunt, including the Appalachian State Mountaineers and numerous other schools on the Atlantic coast.

Another three-star on Rivals, Solomon comes in at 6’0″ 170 pounds. He’s your typical versatile high school athlete, getting lots of touches on running and passing plays. But he’s also a ball-hawking defensive back. The guy registered eight interceptions his sophomore and junior years in total.

Meanwhile, he averaged over six yards a carry through the first half of this season in high school and also had over 500 total rushing and receiving yards. Simply put, the guy is a baller, and he would be a huge get for Rocky Top. Although he’s another cornerback, his athleticism is too good to pass up. And with his size, he could cover a lot of guys as well.
