On a general scale, we try to avoid four-star and five-star recruits when it comes to these types of lists. After all, this is about underrated players. However, Quavaris Crouch makes the list simply because of how great he can be.

At one point, Crouch was the best player in the nation and rated as such. But the 6’3″ 222-pound athlete suffered a brutal injury his junior year. He came back fully healthy his senior year. It’s just that the rustiness of not playing hurt his stock even more. This is all why his stock fell to a four-star rating.

Coming into this year, though, he’ll be fully healthy and have shaken off the rust. As a result, Tennessee football got a major steal. The Vols are deep enough right now at running back and linebacker, Crouch’s two positions, that he’s not likely to be a starter right away. But he does still have that superstar potential.

As a result, wait for 2020. If he’s not starting by then and making All-American level noise, it would be a major shock. Crouch is just that elite of an athlete and has given us every reason to believe in him as a player.
