Tennessee football: Ranking Vols 10 early enrollees for 2019 spring practice
We’re back to offensive linemen. Again, Tennessee football has an immediate need at that position beyond anywhere else, and that means any commitment there who is an early enrollee will be high up on our list.

Nobody deserves a higher spot than Wanya Morris. A four-star recruit, he was the top commitment in the class before Darnell Wright committed on National Signing Day. On top of that, Morris was a five-star at one point, so he clearly has that caliber. When it comes to the composite rankings, he has remained a five-star.
As a result, being one of the top two talented players on the line and being an early enrollee gives Morris a better chance to play early than any offensive lineman. He has the talent, will gain earlier experience and fills the need.
At 6’6″ 312 pounds, Morris is already the perfect size to play offensive tackle. That’s where the biggest need is as well with Drew Richmond entering the transfer portal, Chance Hall giving up football and Trey Smith’s status up in the air.
Tennessee football may have another early superstar in Morris given all this. Also, with offensive line specialist Jim Chaney as the new offensive coordinator, linemen could develop better than ever behind him and Will Friend.
That makes these 15 extra practices an even bigger deal for Morris. He’s going to be ready to go and work with the first team when fall camp arrives if he’s as good as his ratings indicate, and he has a great chance to immediately develop his talent that drew so much acclaim. Tennessee football is in great shape as a result.
