The 2019 SEC Tournament begins on Wednesday night in Nashville. The Tennessee basketball team finished the season with a 27-4 record which gave them the three seed in the tournament.

All the could have-should haves are over and as cheesy as it is, every team is 0-0 in the postseason. Every team can get hot and go on a run in tournament play; it happens every single year. Well maybe besides Vanderbilt who finished the SEC season 0-18.

The SEC is one of the best conferences in the nation, and most projections for the NCAA Tournament have around six to eight teams. And, with that many good teams, there are a few terrific players. In this post, we will cover five players to watch for in potential matchups against the Vols.

Before we dive into the other players, Tennessee has a few players that could make a difference in winning the Championship or getting beat on Friday night.

Grant Williams is hands down the best player in the SEC and is one of the best players in the nation. The back-to-back SEC Player of the Year is averaging 19.3 points per game (1st in SEC), 7.7 rebounds per game (4th in SEC), and 3.3 assists per game (9th in SEC).

I could have thrown Admiral Schofield and Jordan Bone in the mix, but the post is about players to watch from other teams. We began with Donta Hall from Alabama.
