Tennessee basketball: 5 players to watch in the 2019 SEC Tournament
Donta Hall isn’t going to score 20 points per game although he can pour it on once he gets going. He’s only scored over 20 points two times this season, but that’s mainly because he doesn’t get the ball enough.

Hall is only averaging 6.3 shot attempts per game but connecting on over 60 percent. He’s also worked on his free throw stroke and it shows by his 71.6 percent which is up nearly 20 percent from last season.
According to KenPom, who I will be using throughout the rest of the article, Hall has a 127.6 offensive rating which is third best in conference play. He also sits at the top of the league in effective field goal percentage at 65 percent.
Hall also is a fantastic rebounder. He’s averaging 8.6 boards per game and has a defensive rebounding percentage of 25.6, which is good enough for first in SEC play.
The Alabama Crimson Tide received the number ten seed in the SEC Tournament, and the only way they would get another shot at Tennessee is if they beat Ole Miss on Thursday and Kentucky on Friday.
The Tide have lost three games in a row but beat Mississippi and Kentucky during the regular season. If Alabama somehow makes it to Saturday to play Tennessee, the Vols will have their hands full with Hall.
