SEC Tournament: Predicting the 2019 SEC Tournament

The SEC Tournament begins on Wednesday night in Nashville Tennessee. Here are Billy Williford’s and Caleb Calhoun’s predictions for the tourney.

This best time of year is among us, its’ March Madness, baby! You don’t have to be a college basketball die-hard to be glued to the televisions for the next couple weeks. Particularly conference tournament week.

Don’t get me wrong, the big dance is great. However, sometimes the conference tournaments are more enjoyable to watch. After a long 18 game conference schedule, maybe their revenge games, or in Vanderbilt’s case maybe you just want to win. If the Commodores can beat Texas A&M on Wednesday night, it would be their first conference win and first win in 2019.

The LSU Tigers surprised the nation winning the SEC with a conference record of 16-2. But, with everything that has gone on with their program this past week, who knows how they will perform the rest of the season.

Tennessee had a strong year dominating most conference foes but struggled in their last seven games dropping three of the,/ Now, to be fair all three losses were on the road to NCAA Tournament teams.

In this post, we are going to give you our picks for every game of the tournament. We begin with the first round games on Wednesday night.
