Game 7: Winner of Game 3 vs. No.1 LSU (16-2)

Watch: ESPN Time: 1:00 pm ET

Billy Williford prediction: Florida vs. LSU

Winner: Florida

Billy: I really have no clue what to do here. The Tigers are without head coach Will Wade and Javonte Smart. Sure, they beat Vanderbilt, but that was Vanderbilt!

Florida should have beat LSU in both matchups this season if it wasn’t for the worst end gameplans I’ve ever seen. Could LSU win? Absolutely. But, who knows what you’re going to get, so I got the Gators winning.

Caleb Calhoun prediction: Arkansas vs. LSU

Winner: Arkansas

Caleb: Sure, the LSU Tigers won their first game without Javonte Smart and Will Wade. But it was against the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Arkansas-Florida game will determine who makes it to Saturday because either team will beat LSU on Friday. In this case, it’s Arkansas, so Mike Anderson’s team continues its streak to get to Saturday and seriously threaten for the NCAA Tournament.

Game 8: Winner of Game 4 vs. No.4 South Carolina (11-7)

Watch: SECN Time: 3:00 pm ET

Billy Williford prediction: Auburn vs. South Carolina

Winner: Auburn

Billy: The South Carolina Gamecocks found a way to get the double bye. How? I’m really not sure, they aren’t that good of a basketball team, and the league is deep.

Honestly, I think a scarier matchup for Tennessee is Alabama, Ole Miss, or Mississippi State. But, nonetheless, the Gamecocks are the fourth seed and will take on Auburn according to my predictions. And, the Tigers will continue their hot shooting all the way into the Semifinals.

Caleb Calhoun prediction: Auburn vs. South Carolina

Winner: Auburn

Caleb: Sorry, but the South Carolina Gamecocks are the most fraudulent team in the SEC. Their double-bye means nothing. It was sheer luck, and it will be exposed in this Friday match-up. Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers when this one running away to make it to Saturday.
