Game 9: Winner of Game 5 vs. No.2 Kentucky (15-3)

Watch: SECN Time: 7:00 pm ET

Billy Williford prediction: Ole Miss vs. Kentucky

Winner: Kentucky

Billy: I was the guy that picked Missouri to beat Kentucky in last season’s edition of the SEC tournament. I thought with Michael Porter back; it was a game the Tigers could have easily won.

As for Game 9 in the tournament, I like Kentucky to get the win. I’m honestly now convinced they are an elite team and I certainly don’t think that is No.1 worthy. But, they will beat Ole Miss to advance to the Semifinals.

Caleb Calhoun prediction: Alabama vs. Kentucky

Winner: Alabama

Caleb: Just like last year, Avery Johnson’s Alabama Crimson Tide will get red hot in the NCAA Tournament to make a run. On Friday, they’ll upset the Kentucky Wildcats, who will be without Reid Travis. Alabama already beat Kentucky this year, and they’ve shown they have the talent to play with anybody. When a team is without one of its best players, that means the Tide should win.

Game 10: Winner of Game 6 vs. No.3 Tennessee (15-3)

Watch: SECN Time: 9:00 pm ET

Billy Williford prediction: Mississippi State vs. Tennessee

Winner: Tennessee

Billy: From my first look at the bracket I wasn’t sold on the idea of play Mississippi State instead of Ole Miss or Alabama was a good idea. Don’t get me wrong, all three teams are dangerous, but I think the Bulldogs could win the Championship if they get hot.

The Vols will have to stop Quinndary Weatherspoon as they did in Knoxville just a few short days ago. If they can, Tennessee moves on with ease.

Caleb Calhoun prediction: Mississippi State vs. Tennessee

Winner: Tennessee

Caleb: Tennessee basketball just dominated the Mississippi State Bulldogs a week ago on Senior Night. The game will probably be a lot closer this time, but the Vols should still win. They have the better team, more talent, more experience and the anger of losing out on the regular season SEC Championship last Saturday. That will all come through.
