Tennessee basketball: 5 players to watch from the South Region
The Tennessee basketball team gets their NCAA Tournament underway on Friday afternoon as a No.2 seed in the South Region.
It’s here. It’s finally here.
March Madness begins on Thursday right around lunchtime. Now, the “real” game doesn’t begin until Friday around 2:45 pm when the Tennessee basketball team opens up with the Colgate Raiders.
We’ve broke down the Vols road to the Final Four earlier this week with a little bit of information on each team Tennessee could end up playing. If you haven’t had an opportunity to look at a bracket yet, who are you? But, we got you covered, take a look below.
1) Virginia (29-3) vs. 16) Gardner-Webb (23-11)
8) Ole Miss (20-12) vs. 9) Oklahoma (19-13)
5) Wisconsin (23-10) vs. 12) Oregon (23-12)
4) Kansas State (25-8) vs. 13) UC Irvine (30-5)
6) Villanova (25-9) vs. 11) Saint Mary’s (CA) (22-11)
