The Tennessee basketball team is ready to take on Purdue in the Sweet 16. Here are five keys to the game.

The NCAA Tournament is one of the most amazing times of the year and yet it can be so heartbreaking once your team gets sent packing. But, if you are a Tennessee basketball fan you have to like the chances of making the first Final Four in school history.

But, first, the Vols have to find a way past the Purdue Boilermakers. It’s not that Purdue is that much better of a team, in fact, you can make the argument that Tennessee is head and shoulders the favorite. The spread doesn’t necessarily prove that point, but on paper and scouting the Vols should win this game.

Before the tournament began we wrote a post displaying five keys to have success. So far, Tennessee hasn’t done a great job with those keys which points to the close games against Colgate and Iowa.

After countless hours of scouting Purdue, I’m confident that if Tennessee can do the five things we have listed in the coming pages, they will win the game. If they don’t if could be the last game we see Admiral Schofield, Kyle Alexander, Grant Williams, and Jordan Bone in a Tennessee uniform.
