The Tennessee basketball season is over, and it’s time we reflect on the numbers. Here is a look into our breakdown of the season by the numbers.

The 2018-19 Tennessee basketball season is behind us even though the college hoops season isn’t over. No, the Vols aren’t playing in a Final Four thanks to a heart-breaking loss to the Purdue Boilermakers in a Sweet 16 battle.

But, that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been anything good come from the season. In fact, we have a lot of numbers that would say otherwise. Sure, the season could have been better. It probably should have with all the talent and experience of the team. But it was successful and the numbers back that up.

Just like we did for the football season, this post will dive into the numbers from the offense and defense. It will also take a look into some of the numbers the players put up as well as pulling numbers from the wins and losses.

We begin with the offensive numbers. The Vols offense overall was very solid; in fact, it was one of the best in the country when looking at the season as a whole. Which is impressive considering it seemed like there were long stretches in each game where the offense fell asleep.
