The Tennessee basketball squad had some fantastic moments from the past season. We break down our top five here.

What a season it was. Rick Barnes and the Tennessee basketball team won 31 games with some really be wins. They reached No.1 in the nation and stayed there for over a month. And, despite winning nothing when it mattered most, the season was still filled with great moments.

Early in the season, the Vols took to the road to take on the No.1 ranked team in the nation, the Gonzaga Bulldogs. That made our list for one of the best five wins of the season. It was impressive, and Admiral Schofield had himself a game. The senior scored 30 points and willed Tennessee to a win.

Then, of course, we could have gone with the moment of success after beating Kentucky in the SEC Tournament, and while that was a big deal, it wasn’t one of the best moments. In the end, that win meant nothing.

In this post, we deliver our five top moments from the season. Think more individual performances and big picture moments. We begin with Admiral Schofield’s dunk of the year. Maybe the dunk of the century against the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the SEC Tournament.
