Tennessee football’s orange and white game is set for Saturday evening. Here are 10 Volunteers who are worth keeping an eye on.

There’s been so much basketball coverage going on that we almost forgot Tennessee football has been working towards its second season under Jeremy Pruitt via spring practice. Now, there’s a spring game two days away.

With new staff members and coordinators on both sides of the ball, 10 early enrollees, players much healthier than they were last year and a ton of returning talent, there are lots of guys who will be worth watching on Saturday. After all, this is the public’s first real chance to get an idea of what the team may look like in the Fall.

Now, obviously, a lot could change between now and then. Some guys still need to get healthy, there’s an entire Fall camp coming for people to develop even more, and both junior college transfers along with the other 11 commitments arrive in the summer.

However, with the returning talent that has worked on making dramatic improvements in the spring, there is plenty to see. Tennessee football has areas where significant improvement over last year is necessary, and it has other areas where there’s a big need to replace a lot of talent.

In this post, we’re going to rank the 10 most important players to watch on Saturday. This is based on the need for them given their position and things the coaches have said about them throughout the spring.

Saturday’s Orange and White game will demonstrate talent and development, and these specific players provide the best chance to put that on display. Their performance could also help paint a clearer picture of the 2019 season.

So which guys are we talking about? Who really matters when it comes to spring practice? Take a look at that answer here. These are the top 10 Tennessee football players to watch in the Vols’ Saturday Orange and White game.
