Tennessee football’s Orange and White game is set for Saturday, April 13. Here is a look at the Volunteers’ rosters on each side.

Saturday’s spring game for Tennessee football just got a bit more clear. The rosters for the orange and white teams are both out now. They were revealed on the Vols’ official football Twitter account Friday afternoon.

According to reports, the orange team will have the first-team defense and second-team offense, while the white team will have the first-team offense and second-team defense. It’ll be a regular game with a running clock until the last four minutes of each half, in which the game goes to a two-minute situation, according to Jeremy Pruitt. Here’s a look at the full roster.

Although there is still a lot to learn about this team, and we won’t know close to everything until the summer players arrive, you can still learn a good bit from the spring game. And the rosters ahead of time are revealing on their own. They show guys who are ahead of others right now.

Sure, Jarrett Guarantano being on the first-team for offense isn’t surprising. But it looks like the offense will have three big receivers in its rotation, as Josh Palmer, Marquez Callaway and Jauan Jennings are all on the first team. Tyler Byrd and Jordan Murphy are both second-teamers.

We also learned a good bit about who’s leading the way on the offensive line. Wanya Morris made his way onto there as a freshman along with K’Rojhn Calbert. Nathan Niehaus falling to second team and Jerome Carvin being on that side as well are telling.

On the defensive side, it’s no surprise that Emmit Gooden and Matthew Butler are the first-team defensive linemen. Everything else was always going to be random. But it is very telling that Solon Page III and Shanon Reid joined Daniel Bituli on the first team.

The secondary was a bit revealing as well. Nigel Warrior and Bryce Thompson were expected along with Alontae Taylor. But Theo Jackson, Trevon Flowers and Baylen Buchaan all had spots to fight for, so it’s interesting that they’re all in there.
