The greatest and smartest franchise in the NFL, the New York football Giants make our list of landing spots at number three. Also, I was just kidding about both complements; in fact, you could make an argument the front office is incompetent.

The Giants ranked 24th in total defense last season allowing 371.4 per game. The passing defense ranked 23rd giving up 7.6 yards per attempt and 24 touchdowns. The rushing defense was a bit better at the 20th spot but gave up 18 touchdowns which was one of the worst in the league.

What defensive ends are on the Giants roster?

Jake Ceresna (Cortland State) and Myles Humphrey (Shepherd) are currently the only defensive ends listed on the Giants roster. New York is a tad bit slim at the position so picking up Phillips wouldn’t be a bad idea.

What picks do the Giants have?

Round 6: No. 180

Round 7: No. 232 (from Vikings), No. 245 (from Rams)

A lot of mock drafts have the Giants focusing on their linebacker need early and then moving to the offensive line. This helps the chance of Kyle Phillips landing in New York, especially with the Giants holding two seventh round picks.
