No.5 – Buffalo Bills

AFC East: 3rd

Record: 6-10

The Buffalo Bills finishes third in their division but don’t let that fool you, they were competitive all season. Well, for the most part.

What defensive tackles are on the Bills roster?

There are currently four defensive tackles on the Buffalo Bills’ roster: Star Lotulelei (Utah), Kyle Peko (Oregon State), Harrison Phillips (Stanford), Jordan Phillips (Oklahoma) and Robert Thomas (Arkansas).

There’s a bit of competition with Harrison Phillips, as he had 35 tackles last year and two and a half tackles for a loss. However, the retirement of Kyle Williams leaves a major hole to fill up front, and Jordan Phillips and Star Lotulelei are the only other players with a decent level of NFL experience. So they need some serious help here.

What picks do the Bills have?

Round 5: No.147, No. 158 (from Steelers, through Raiders)

Round 6: No. 181

Round 7: No. 225, No.228 (from Panthers)

With five picks late in the NFL Draft, you can bet the Bills are going to try to find a couple of guys to beef up their defensive line. Alexis Johnson may be somebody they take a chance on with his size and playmaking ability.
