5. John Fulkerson will average close to a double-double

For our first bold prediction, we believe John Fulkerson will average close to a double-double next season. Remember the year Kyle Alexander had? The senior big man finished with 7.3 points per game and pulled down 6.6 rebounds.

There is no reason Fulkerson can’t post those type of numbers and even better. Fulkerson only averaged 12 minutes per game last season, and if our bold prediction is going to hit, he needs to play around 25 minutes per game.

Looking at his statistics per 40 minutes, Fulkerson was effective. Again, per 40 minutes, Fulkerson averaged 10.5 points per game while pulling down 8.8 rebounds and dishing out 2.2 assists.

In a post from last week, we mentioned that Fulkerson has to get it going on the offensive end to help Tennessee have success next season. He showed he is an energy guy that brings a lot to the table, especially on the defensive end.

Despite playing just 12 minutes per game, Fulkerson nearly averaged one block per game and half a steal.

We believe that with more playing time and the ability to play significant minutes, Fulkerson will nearly average a double-double on the season.
