2. Jordan Bowden will average 15 points per game

Coming in at the second spot on our bold predictions for the 2019-20 season is Jordan Bowden averaging 15 points per game. This falls under the “bold” category more so because of the offensive gameplan Rick Barnes likes to run than Bowden’s scoring ability.

However, if Bowden is ever going to have a chance to showcase what he can do on the offensive end, it will be next season. Honestly, no one knows how Barnes will run the starting lineup or rotation, but you would think Bowden will play just as much as this past season.

Bowden has increased his scoring total in each of his three seasons in Knoxville. last season ended in a career-high 10.6 points per game which was 5th highest on the team.

Can he average 15 points per game? Absolutely.

Bowden scored in double digits in 21 games last season and began SEC play with a 17.6 scoring average through the first five games. Those five games were arguably the best of the season where he scored 20,20,17,19 and 12.

In tournament play, Bowden scored 14 against Colgate on 2-for-6 from the three-point line. He also poured in 16 points against Purdue knocking down 4-for-6 from deep.

Bowden will be a massive piece to the success for Tennessee next season. If he can score 15 points per game, the Vols will be in good shape.
