2. Shy Tuttle, Defensive Tackle
Shy Tuttle comes in at number two in our ranking. The former five-star had a bit of a rough go at it in Knoxville. Injuries kept him from living up to his potential. However, Tuttle was injury free for his final season on Rocky Top and is showed statistically. Of course, his stats were never going to be great playing the glamorous-less role of nose tackle. But, players can always impact games without producing stats, and Tuttle did that.
He finished his career with 70 tackles, including 20 solo tackles and 6.5 for loss. Surprisingly, Tuttle is swift on his feet and has the athleticism to make a difference on the next level. He just has to find the right spot.
Fellow edition, Caleb Calhoun, has Tuttle landing with the Miami Dolphins. In our post about his five best landing spots, the Atlanta Falcons seem like a no brainer.
. The Falcons need help up front, and Tuttle would be an excellent addition to the 4-3 front they play. He isn’t big enough to plug the middle of a 3-4 of the fit in Atlanta make sense. Look for Tuttle to make an impact despite not being drafted.
