Tennessee football: Ranking every Vols NFL Draft class this decade
No.4 – 2014 NFL Draft
Ja’Wuan James: Round 1 Pick 19
Ja’Wuan James was the fifth offensive tackle taken in the 2014 NFL Draft. The Miami Dolphins snagged him with the 19th overall pick. With the Vols and now in the NFL, James is one of the most consistent offensive linemen in the game.
It’s hard to judge stats for offensive linemen, but since joining the league in 2014, James has started all 62 games he’s appeared in.
Zach Fulton: Round 6 Pick 193
Zach Fulton was another offensive lineman taken in the 2014 NFL Draft from the Tennessee football team. The 6-foot-5, 323 pounder was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the sixth round.
Fulton has started 59 out of the 76 games he’s appeared in and has played three different positions on the offensive line. Last season with the Houston Texans, Fulton started all 13 games.
Daniel McCullers: Round 6 Pick 215
Big Dan McCullers has played well in the NFL despite being a sixth-round pick. He’s only started in three games but has appeared in 57 in five years with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In two seasons with the Vols, McCullers accounted for 72 tackles, including ten for loss and 1.5 sacks.
