Despite the Tennessee football program fallen to near the bottom of the SEC, former Vols have been productive in the NFL. Here are four steals from the past decade.

The Tennessee football team hasn’t won ten games in a single season since 2007. Butch Jones, of all coaches, got the team to nine wins in back-to-back seasons in 2015 and 2016. Since 2010, the Vols have lost seven games or more six times.

It continues with the lack of success in the NFL Drafts since 2010. There were three seasons during that span where the Vols failed to have a single player drafted.

In this post, we are going to break down four former Vols who were steals in the NFL Draft from 2010. Since that time there were 25 VFL’s were selected to NFL rosters. Five players went in the first round, two went in the second round, and four players went in the third round.

There were a few players that haven’t been in the league long enough to make a significant impact for their teams and be considered a “steal.” Rashaan Gaulden could end up being a fantastic player for the Carolina Panthers, but it’s too early to consider the third round draft pick a steal.

So, we began our slideshow with a guy that has made some noise on every team he’s played on.
