Tennessee football should get back on track with talent in the NFL Draft when 2020 comes. Here are the 10 Volunteers with the most potential to be selected.

After closing out the worst NFL Draft decade in history last weekend, Tennessee football is in prime position to kick off the 2020 draft with a ton of loaded talent. How long that last remains to be seen, but the Vols should be off to a good start next year.

Now, this will all depend on what happens during Jeremy Pruitt’s second season on Rocky Top. If things completely fall apart, this could all be a different story. Significant improvement, however, should really help this Vols load up the draft.

Doing that will allow for Tennessee football to sell itself as a program again on the recruiting trail under Pruitt. What he’s doing right now has been remarkable given how badly the program has fallen in terms of producing draft picks. A good season to fill up the 2020 draft could seriously expand the potential of the program.

With such a young team in 2018 and a brand new system on both sides of the ball, there are plenty of upperclassmen heading into this year. Even with new coordinators, the systems are largely in place, so they should all be able to take major steps forward.

In this post, we’re going to do a preliminary rank of those players who would be the best NFL Draft prospects for 2020. Obviously, this will all change after the season. But ahead of time, we have a good bit of evidence to project what will happen.

Our criteria for each player includes talent, health, and opportunities to stand out based on the depth of each position and the system that the coaches are running. Simply put, we can’t just rank these players based on who is the best. And on top of that, we have to look at draft eligibility.

So which ones have a chance to make an impact for pro prospects? Who will be the guys to help Jeremy Pruitt put the Vols back in the NFL limelight for recruits. Take a look here as we rank Tennessee football’s 10 players with the highest 2020 NFL Draft potential.
