The Tennessee basketball team could see a lot of turnover from the 31-win team a season ago. Here are three grad transfers the Vols should go after.

Rick Barnes and the Tennessee basketball team are coming off one of the most impressive regular seasons in program history. The team lead by Grant Williams, Admiral Schofield, and Jordan Bone won 31 games and was seconds away from an Elite Eight.

But, they could look a lot different next season. Williams, the back-to-back SEC Player of the Year, should be a first-round draft pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. The Junior leader led the Vols scoring 18.8 points per game while pulling down 7.5 rebounds.

Admiral Schofield averaged 16.5 points per game while connecting on 41.8 percent of his three-point attempts. And, then there is Jordan Bone who stepped up in a big way. Some would say he was the key to success most of the games thanks to the way he protected the basketball.

In this post, we will cover a few players that the Vols should go after from the transfer portal. We aren’t suggesting that Tennessee has a chance to land these players, but they should at least reach out to them.
