No.3 – Isaiah Moss

SG, Iowa Hawkeyes

Isaiah Moss is the first player on our list of guys the Vols should reach out to from the transfer portal. You might remember Moss from the overtime win against Iowa in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Vols were up big that game taking a 49-28 lead into halftime. But, like many times through the season, they allowed the other team to fight back into the game, as Iowa did. Moss played 29 minutes fro the Hawkeyes in that game scoring 16 points on 6-for-12 from the floor, including 3-for-5 from deep. He also added five boards, two steals, and scored five points in the last four minutes of the game to help survive for overtime.

Moss stated in all 35 games last season for the Hawkeyes averaging 9.2 points per game in 24 minutes of action. Over three seasons, Moss has consistently been able to knock down the outside jumper finishing with a 35 percent average or higher each year. Last season, his average jumped to 42.1 percent.

Tennessee is probably looking for a big guy to help D.J. Burns and John Fulkerson, however, adding Moss wouldn’t be a bad move by any means.
