The future of Tennessee Vols basketball remains at stake with the news coming Wednesday. Whether or not UT football takes another step is another major storyline. Oh, and there are some spring sports events going on as well.

Tennessee Vols basketball junior forward Grant Williams will decide if he stays in the NBA Draft or returns for his senior season on Saturday, according to a tweet from Allie LaForce of TNT. Recently, he’s been projected as a first-rounder.
"Williams initially met with media April 9 to address his future plans at Tennessee.“I never could have imagined that I’d be here today,” Williams told reporters at the Ray and Lucy Hand Digital Studio on April 9."
Jeremy Pruitt discusses Vols in radio interview – SwainEvent.com
Tennessee Vols football head coach Jeremy Pruitt went on The Swain Event, which is hosted by former UT wide receiver Jayson Swain, to speak on a wide range of topics. He discussed coaching changes, recruiting methods, and wanting guys to not take as much time off in the summer. Here’s a bit of what he said.
"“I think last season will have absolutely no determination on what happens this year. So, you know, I think we have to focus on where our feet are at right now. Continue to improve and get better every single day. On the field, off the field, in the weight room, in the class room. So that’s what we need to focus on.”"
Tennessee baseball tops Tennessee Tech – Wes Rucker, GoVols247
The No. 23 ranked Tennessee Vols baseball team won its final non-conference regular season game of the year, defeating the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles 15-10. With the win, they moved to 36-17 on the year ahead of their final series of the regular season, a weekend matchup at home against the No. 15 ranked Ole Miss Rebels.
"Nine Tennessee players had hits and six players drove in runs on the night, led by three RBI apiece from junior center fielder Jay Charleston, sophomore left fielder Alerick Soularie and freshman catcher Connor Pavolony. The Vols also stole a season-high 13 bases, one shy of the single-game program record set against Carson-Newman on April 11, 1990."
Men’s golf remains in top 5 at NCAA Regionals – UTSports
The Tennessee Vols men’s golf team dropped one spot but remained in the top 5 at NCAA Regionals after Tuesday. They are currently at 17 over par for a total score of 585.
"Tennessee enters the final round tied with SMU, Memphis and Nevada for the final spot in the NCAA Championships at 17-over through two rounds. It are also just three strokes back of No. 22 Liberty for fourth place on the leaderboard."
