No.1 – Bring Tennessee back to greatness

Man, it’s been awhile. And, when I say awhile it’s been awhile. Tennessee hasn’t had a ten-win season since the 2007 season.

Butch Jones did have back-to-back nine-win seasons and three bowl game wins. But, let’s be real, is that really impressive? Is that really what Tennessee fans want out of their football program?

From 1989-1999 the Vols least amount of wins in a season was nine with seven bowl game wins and a National Championship. That’s Tennessee football.

One of the best parts about starting a dynasty on the NCAA 14 was taking a team that had no winning history to become a powerhouse. Or in Tennessee’s case, a program that had a lot of winning seasons but have struggled since.

As Tennessee fans would there be anything better than leading your favorite football back to the glory days? I mean, of course, we all want the Vols to dominate in real life but the video game is the next best thing.

I can just see it now. Ohio State 23 Tennessee 17 with the Vols on the goal line with just seconds left in the National Championship Game. No, I’m not calling a lateral run. I’m putting big Elijah Simmons under center and running a quarterback draw. Good luck on stopping him.
