Tennessee football’s summer enrollees have now arrived. Here is how all 12 of them rank by potential impact on the Volunteers for 2019.

With the arrival of the summer enrollees last week and this week, Tennessee football now pretty much has its entire 2019 recruiting class on campus. The only guy left is defensive back Anthony Harris, but he’s got some academic issues to clear up, so it could take some time.

Anyway, the other 22 guys have arrived. That includes 10 Vols who were early enrollees and another 12 who have arrived within the past week. Jeremy Pruitt finally has the full roster to look at and determine what he needs to do with it.

We got a glimpse of what the early enrollees could provide during spring ball. For instance, Wanya Morris has already worked his way into the rotation on the offensive line. And Jaylene McCullough was a breakout star in the secondary.

But with these 12 new arrivals, Tennessee football has a second wave of talent arriving on campus. Could the Vols find other players with the ability to contribute immediately in this group? Well, that’s a big reason why Pruitt recruited them.

In this post, we’re going to find out who could stand out on the list. Leaving out Harris since he hasn’t yet arrived, it’s time to take a look at the other guys who made their way to Rocky Top from this past week. They are 12 players from six different states playing seven different positions.

Our ranking is based on what they could do this year. There are a couple of players in this class who could have a bigger impact long-term, but the Vols have some immediate needs, and some of these players could fill them.

Keep in mind this is all preliminary, so we have to base this off of their positions and the recruiting hype behind them. Clearly, the best way to project their talent is to base it off what we’ve seen from them at this level, but we just can’t do that yet.

So let’s project on potential, and let’s take a look at which new arrivals could stand out quickly on Rocky Top. This is our ranking of the 12 Tennessee football summer enrollees most likely to have an impact on the Vols in 2019.
