Jordan Bone is making noise around the NBA in summer workouts. Here are some things he had to say after working out for the Sacramento Kings.

No one should have been surprised that Jordan Bone wanted to test the NBA waters leading into his senior season. In fact, that is one of the smartest moves a player can make.

Bone was an essential part of the recent success from the Tennessee basketball team. He was vital to a smooth offense that at types was unstoppable. As a junior, Bone increased his scoring output by six points per game and shot around 13 percent better from inside the arc.

The free throw line jumper would have been his hotspot in NBA Jam.

Bone was masterful at getting to spots on the floor that displayed his skill set. The free line jumper was money, and he got to the rim just as good as anyone in the nation. At times he struggled to finish against length but knew when to drop it off to his teammates.

Bone has worked out for several NBA teams this offseason. Most recently, The Sacramento Kings joined the list.

After the work out Bone said, “It went well, man. I’m blessed with another opportunity to showcase what I can do.”

What Bone can do on the next level is yet to be seen. However, he has NBA speed and plays under control. Something that should entice NBA executives is Bone’s ability to demand the basketball yet turn that off and get his teammates involved when they are hot.

One media member asked Bone about how he helped put Tennessee basketball back on the national stage. Bone said, “It means everything. Vol Nation understands my love for them. I gave everything when I was there. I left there with no regrets.”

We saw how much better he got in three years at Tennessee. We’ve also seen him show out at the 2019 NBA Draft Combine. It’s still up in the air if teams will spend a selection on him late in the second round. Bone isn’t a game changer on the next level, at least not yet. However, teams won’t be disappointed if they draft him.
